Google Strong-arms Sites Into Mobile Compliance

If a business wants their website to compete in today’s web world, then they must give consideration to mobile devices and deliver an optimal experience across screen sizes. Fortunately, this can be accomplished by harnessing the power of responsive design.

For many companies, the reluctance to go responsive is due to “financial reasons”. Responsive is not something you can paste onto an existing website in 5 minutes. As such, to build a website responsively, that site needs to be redesigned and rebuilt. This requires an investment – both time and money, which is something that many companies have been unable to afford. And so they leave money on the table when it comes to their mobile customers.

Thankfully, as responsive web design & UX have become more and more popular, the barriers to this approach have started to come down.
